It was pretty tiring but everybody is nice there so heppi moneymaking!
In two weeks I’ve got enough maneys for an Ecler Nuo 3 mixer \o/
Also I passed my exams with (70%), that’s pretty kewl too ![]()
I had to do a powerpoint presentation thingie about a famous couple for Dutch class… so I picked John and Yoko and made a silly Aidy style presentation \o/ yays \o/

…a second turntable! It’s a third hand (if it isn’t even more) Gemini PT-2000 III. Works really well, it’s better than the JB Systems Q30, for the greater part. The only thing that bothers me is that it skips really easily
Still looking into how to fix it.
But it’s great that the strobe light adjusts to your rpm setting and all that, and the pitch bend buttons are cool too. Only thing is that when adding speed, the change is really too large, but for slowing down a bit it works really well.
The guy also sold me two of his records, as he’s switching to CDs, two electro hits: Tomas Andersson - Washing up (with the Tiga remix of course) and Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit (HAWT).
On last week’s Friday there was this rock band performance thing at our school (Rock ‘n’ Dance), it was pretty good, the quality was tons higher than last year
There was even a reggea band, hilarious! I also went to the Music Mania for the first time, a really large record (vinyl and cd) store, and there I bought Uffie - Hot Chick/In Charge. Two very cool tracks, Uffie’s really funny and hawt and things.
So now it’s saving up for the mixuuuhr! (long way to go :()
So it was taking so long because the bank hadn’t copied the account number correctly… but as soon as the shop got the payment (on last week’s Friday) they sent it and it arrived the Monday after, which is like ubarfast.
So I’ve been trying to beat match some things, and it goes better and better every time I try one, it’s only a pity that I don’t really have good headphones or a mixer
Anyways, here are some pictures:
Thursday it was poetry day at school and Kerensa and me, us had to sing a sang
Sound of Silence it was. It went pretty OK, but was totally pathetic of course. At least I was the better of the two (it’s not me that says that, it’s the others!!11), but that’s only normal, missus Kerensa has only been singing for a year or two.
Ooh and on Wednesday I went to the record shop and bought Nirvana’s Nevermind, on teh vinyl, I know I’m crazy but crazy is good. Linky to the Discogs release.
I added a ‘Music’ page here, where I’ll store everything that has to do with music. I added a list of all the records I own here, too, and I promised myself I’ll keep it up to date with every new thing I buy (ehem). I also got an account on Discogs, and added all the records I have to the collection list, except for Skeemz - Ain’t You Heard?, which I’ve just submitted and now is being reviewed and all that. I already made some contributions, and it really feels good doing that
I also bought Daan - The Player last Wednesday, been listening to it all the time, and it’s absolutely great! It’s typical Daan eurotrash /electronica music, and I luvluvluv that, just makes me happy and sit
The turntable still hasn’t arrived, apparently dad’s bank takes like 5 days or so to transfer money, so if everything goes well, it should be here by next weekend (cunt wait!)
Happy new year to everybody that reads this… which obviously is nobody \o/
Okay first of all, the site is now hosted on tnet.no, thanks to ixnay and tech! So no silly downtimes anymore because of ISPs fooking up and all that.
I made a new theme for the blog, IMO it’s the best theme I ever made! I put a lot of work in it, but it went way faster than the previous one, which proves that I’m getting good at this CSS thing
This one also works a little bit for internet explorer users, but I won’t ever bother fixing the little glitches in the rendering. Hm, that reminds me, I still need to run the XML and CSS validators - hope there won’t be too much bugs. Here’s the Lorum Ipsum page. And here a theme screenshot.
Right, now for programming projects. I’ve been trying to do some work for mixxx, a cross-platform DJing program. But boy! It’s so hard to program something when nothing’s really documented or commented and the developers themselves don’t know what half of the code actually does
So it’s pretty hard to keep myself motivated for it.
I’ve also started looking at FOOD (Friends Of Open source Database), a project which was started by a few Gentoo guys, and is supposed to be lead by cokehabit. It was pretty inactive lately, so I thought I’d start doing something for it again, but it’s a crazy lot of work. I’ve got a few table designs up but someone needs to poke me hard to have me actually code something for it :p
I’ve also created a logo for cokehabit’s little startup company, optimology.co.uk. He pretends that he’s going to make money with it and said I get something in return for the logo, if he becomes a successful businessman

I’ve also ordered a turntable! It’s a JB Systems Q30, nothing fancy, but pretty decent and cheap. So that means another one and this fantastic Reloop RMX-20 mixer and I’m finally up for some DJ goodness \o/ Another 340 euros to go
I just hope it won’t be too much crap, but it shouldn’t be as the guys at dj2dj.be said it should be all fine.
Okay, that’s about it I think, let’s head for 2007!
So I gots like 75% for my exams!
That’s:
French: 68%
Dutch: 64% (hum don’t ask)
English: 83%
German: 73%
Maths: 73%
Physics: 88% (omg)
Chemistry: 81%
Biology: 94% (omg omg omg)
Geography: 75%
History: 77%
Nobody gets to know how much I have for sport ![]()
Moral or whatever it’s called was 65% but nobody cares about that anyways.
Today I’m 17!
…
And I need to get up early because we’re supposed to be going to the cinema to see ‘an unconvient truth’ for school
I hope it’s decent or something. Maybe afterwards I’m going to get an album or something, and we’re probably going for parts of my friend’s AMD64 X2 4000something (*jealousy*) too.
My very own theme is also almost finished, and it turned out pretty good… if not a bit ghei but yeh I like ghei ![]()
